Positive Mitzvah 180: Punishing False Witnesses
Deuteronomy 19:19 "You shall do to him as he had thought to have done to his brother"

If witnesses are found to be testifying falsely, they must be punished.

We are commanded to impose upon these false witnesses the same verdict that would have been given to the person on trial, had their testimony been true.

Everything was created as a means to know G-d. Every discovery we have ever made was planted here in the six days of creation in order that we utilize it for a G-dly purpose.

------------

People ask, "But how could you see so much good in the future when so much evil predominates now -- and it grows day by day?"

But such is the order of things: Darkness was only placed in the world to challenge light. As the light intensifies, the darkness thickens to defy it.
